I like the explanation given by the guy on C-Net - can't recall his name, but his explanation was clear. I feel completely overwhelmed by the amount of information we can be bombarded with these days. You could spend the entire day, every day, glued to your computer. Some incredibly useful stuff available of course, but it really is overwhelmimg. Am so impressed with my technological skills!! Up until now I had only accessed my niece's photos of her baby daughter but now I've managed to put up a photo of our cats. Great excitement. It certainly isn't through the want of trying! I have wasted so much time attempting to get back in and feeling such an idiot. My mistake - I realise now - is that I was giving an incorrect username. (OK so I <strong>am</strong> an idiot). I seem to have several, what with various join-ups, and I wasn't using the one I apparently chose for my blog page so of course it was constantly rejecting me.<br />In the meantime I have explored Flickr a little but was unable to report on it. I had been vaguely familiar with it as my niece and her partner post photos of their new baby on it so the families can check baby Sarah's progress. So far the hardest part for me has been actually registering my blog but I seem to have achieved this - at last!</span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;">I also found I wasn't able to print out the Learning Contract so not too sure what I'm supposed to do in that case.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;">I also find all this talk of lifelong learning, learning journeys, learning styles etc. alarmingly similar to the jargon used in the educational sphere these days.
